Prince Edward County has its own Radio Station. 99.3 County-FM is aiming to hit the airwaves in September of 2014 and the heavy lifting has now begun. We will not be able to get on the air in September or at any time without your help. Volunteers will be central to the success of 99.3 County FM as a community radio station. To put quality local programming on the air 24 hours a day, 365 days a year will depend on the involvement of dozens and dozens of volunteers. Hosting a program on the air may be the most visible form of volunteering, but there are all kinds of other important volunteer jobs to do to put the station on the air and have it flourish.
We are building from the ground up. We are looking for volunteers to help with Fundraising (critical right now), Programming (hosting and producing), Writing and Producing Commercials, Technical engineering to get and keep us on the air, Designing and building our station, Fundraising, Sales and Marketing, and Administration which includes Music logging and management, Commercial Traffic Logging, Accounting, Reception etc.
You don’t have to know anything about how a radio station works to volunteer. We’ll train you up if you are up to it and the following vision is you.
99.3 County-FM Volunteer Vision
